Following extensive engagement with the Parish Council and local community Laxton Properties is pleased to have submitted a planning application for a new development in Somerton, near Bicester.

The site, a redundant farmyard, already benefits from planning permission to convert one of the existing buildings into 6 new homes. Our preference is to comprehensively redevelop the entire farmyard and deliver instead not only purpose designed, sustainable new homes, but also community infrastructure that would not be provided under the existing consent. Under our proposals we would provide 10 brand new homes, as well as traffic enhancements, allotments, public open space and a dedicated, surfaced footpath for the village community.
