A new neighbourhood for Berkhamsted
Berkhamsted is at the heart of Laxton's patch, being where we are based and where many of our team have personal links. And so it is very exciting to have submitted a planning application for 102 new homes at Haslam Field in the town, together with a new park, community cafe and replacement playing fields at Haresfoot.
These proposals are in line with the allocation of the site in the draft Local Plan and will deliver the homes (including 40% affordable housing) in an accessible and sustainable location.
This new neighbourhood will be a thriving addition to the southern part of the town and will bring clear benefits to the wider community including a new park, playground and community cafe and building that is to be run by Sunnyside Rural Trust.
