Many developers talk about sustainability but at Laxton Properties we make it a priority to stay at the leading edge of what sustainable building really means.
For more than five years, every home we’ve built has used air‑source heat pumps instead of gas boilers, reflecting our early and deliberate move away from fossil fuels.
All our properties achieve A‑rated EPC scores, supported by high‑performance insulation, extensive solar installations, and a range of environmentally focused design features that reduce energy use and future‑proof our homes.
Our commitment to sustainability is an ongoing journey—one where we continually raise standards rather than simply meet them. Recently, we were proud to host an event for more than 60 members of the local property development community, featuring a detailed briefing on the Future Homes Standard and the government’s plans to further strengthen environmental requirements for new‑build homes.
While we’re already delivering most of these enhanced standards today, we’re not stopping there. Laxton Properties will continue pushing the boundaries of what sustainable development can achieve across all our projects.
