The flexibility that a small developer can offer to landowners is often a key criteria. This was certainly the case in our discussions with the owners of this site in Boxmoor.

At that time they lived on the site in a bungalow and had achieved planning permission for a development of 2 houses. We saw the potential to enhance that permission and maximise their land value. The flexibility that they required was for us to agree to a significantly delayed completion once planning consent was granted, so that the timescales would work with their specific plans.

Planning precision that maximised landowner return

Having agreed to such a bespoke arrangement we managed to secure a planning permission for 10 apartments that optimised the development potential of the site and therefore the value that we could offer the landowners.

The resulting development is a highly regarded and noteworthy addition to the streetscape, providing a striking example of the ‘classic contemporary’ architecture that we look to employ in appropriate circumstances.
